We offer ERW Black and Galvanized Pipes that are manufactured from edge trimmed mild steel strips slitted from hot rolled low carbon steel coil. The pipes and tubes under this range have a diameter range of 15 mm (1/2 inch) to 300 mm (12 inches), and wall thickness between 2 mm and 10 mm. The tubes are available as beveled, plain ended or threaded, with screws and sockets.
Complying with IS: 10748-1995 standard, the edge trimmed strips are crafted into a circular shape. To weld the strips with the tube, high frequency electric current of 4, 50,000 cycles/second is used thus, the tube is completed. Afterwards, the tubes are measured for dimensional accuracy, and required corrections are made. The tubes are cut to the required length, and both ends are beveled, before the commencement of the hydrostatic testing. Following this process, the tubes are galvanized or varnished in a hot dip, depending upon the application area.
These tubes find their application in water, gas & sewage pipes, structural purposes, idlers / conveyors and water wells (casing pipes). Apart from these, our tubes are also extensively used in electric poles, automotive purposes, scaffolds and air, steam, oil & gas transmission.
